Dr. Luengo is a Tourism Marketing and Promotion Professional. Her experience includes tourism destination marketing across Asia & Europe with TOURSPAIN, Spain’s Tourism Board, and as Tourism specialist with the Embassy of Spain, Singapore. Skilled in market analysis, Dr. Luengo has deep connections with the travel industry and media in ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand markets.
As Destination Marketing Consultant with Spain’s Extremadura Tourism she designed their 2017-2020 Plan with a € 68.5 million marketing budget, leading new marketing projects to promote Extremadura as a tourism destination.
An expert in social media marketing and promotion Dr. Luengo received her PhD in Communications at the University of Extremadura. She holds her Masters in International Tourism from EOI Business School, her Masters in International Business Management from ICEX-CECO and a B.A from University Rey Juan Carlos.
Dr. Luengo will be providing our clients with advice and direction on destination marketing to the distinct ASEAN tourist populations, on policy and project advice for sustainable tourism, on cross marketing tourism with investment, education and business travel, and providing due diligence and business advice on hotel and resort investments within the region.
