Brady focuses on institutional capacity, international policy, and public-private partnerships in Southeast Asia. He has a wide range of experience in the region, working mainly on public health projects and democratic equity initiatives in Cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines. He has also studied and worked in Japan and China. Within Canada, he has managed long-term successful fundraising programs for the UNHCR, Plan Canada, UNICEF, and other non-government organisation. Most recently, he has worked with USAID to build electoral participation in Cambodia and with the Canada-ASEAN Business Council to promote effective solutions to business challenges in the region. His work focuses on policy questions surrounding the partnership between Canada, ASEAN nations, and Northeast Asian nations.
